First month TTC help
We are going to start TTC in May. I just got my AF today. From temping for the past few months on Fertility Friend, I see that May 12th, 13th and 14th are possible ovulation dates (one month I o'd on the 15th day, one month on the 16th day, and one on the 17th- is that weird?). When should we start BDing? On the 10th? Thanks!

Re: First month TTC help
IMO I would purchase an opk, and start testing on cd 10....and start bding every other night starting at that point. This way you are giving yourself extra time. You may end up ovulating cd 13 this cycle,...you just can never tell.
It's absolutely normal having ovulation occur on different days, just as long as they are within a few days of each other.
Good luck ,....I hope your stay here is a quick one

just a quick question...why do you say to bd every other night instead of every night. I have heard conflicting stories on this. Thanks

It depends on sperm and how much energy a person has lol Bding every other night is a pretty safe method, because it allows the sperm supply to rejuvenate so to speak. If you bd every day the count could be lessened. (although not all men have this issue). Sperm can live in fertile cm for a few days, so chances are you can catch the egg if you do this method. However, once there is a positive opk, I personally would bd every day until my temp shifted. (again if there are no male factor issues).
