First OB appt after BFP
I will be 6.5wks, what should I expect?
I asked if they wanted to see me earlier, later, or just keep the appt I had, they said the appt I have will be perfect.

Depends on your doctor... maybe pee in a cup, maybe blood work, maybe internal sono. At 6.5 I peed in a cup and had an internal sono and saw the sac and heartbeat flicker. No blood at my office.

At my very first appointment about 6 weeks, I met with the office's Nurse Practioner. She took a lot of blood and I took another pregnancy test at the office. Then we just went over some medical history. I got a prescription for prenatal vitamins.
The appointment after that, at about 8.5 weeks I met with the OB. He did an internal sonogram at that point. We went over the do's and don't's.

I peed in a cup, got blood taken, an internal and external sono, got weighed, blood pressure and a script for prenatals.

1st exam was only a internal, BP check and quick talk with the doctor at 7 weeks
at 11 weeks, I had blood work, pap and urine and BP check

depends..im in the 7th week and my dr wont even see me yet. im going for an ultrasound tonite, but the first appt with the OB/GYN wont be for a few more weeks.
they have sent me for bloodwork though 3 times now.

My first appt is when I'm about 6 wks too and I'll just the usual prenatal bloodwork done. My first sono and actual OB appt isn't until I'm 9wks.

I have my 1st appt tomorrow, I am only I think 4 weeks, but she wants me to come in to confirm the pregnancy, if 5 test wasn't enough
then they will schedule my 1st pre natal appt.
