First overnight without DS..I hope this gets easier
STBX took DS for the first time last night and isn't bringing him back until tnoght around 5pm. I did okay last night because I was busy with my sister-in-law. But, Im bored this morning and missing DS! Ugh, please tell me this gets easier

The first 5 or so times are the worst. It gets easier. Try and use this time for yourself. Go out with a single friend you haven't seen in a while. Go to the movies, clean out a closet, read a book.

Before XH moved away, he never had DD overnights, but he did have her for the day (like 10-7). I would use the day to do something for myself...go to a movie, shopping, mani/pedi, meet with friends, etc.
He has since moved away to NC and doesn't have visitation with DD...I would give anything to have an afternoon or evening to myself
