First pair of shoes question
I purchased DS Stage 2 shoes from Striderite since he is cruising so much. When I went their they told me that the tie type is better than the velco. Do you think it makes a difference because the few times he had them on I was already re-tieing them.

They said the same to me when I went, and I went with the velcro, so much easier!!! I didn't want to deal with re-tieing them every second. I get all velcro shoes for her now.

I tried robez and he would kick them off and our floors are always cold so I will not let him go bare foot. When I put the sheos on him he started pushing his walker and walking with it which he couldnt do before because he would slide under it. I was going to get the pediped shoes but they don't fit his feet correctly.

I was planning on the same thing, but Ella was slipping around so much in socks and the floors are too cold for barefoot (we have all hardwood). So I bought her first pair of "real" shoes this weekend and she's so much more stable now.
Also she loves to "walk" (with help) so whenever we go outside she wants to walk a bit, so she needed shoes (this is how I'm justifying buying 3 pairs of shoes this week )
