first sono today - update
today is my first sono.
I had IUI on 8/26 so Im 6w5d.
What should I expect. Should I hear heartbeat.
any feedback would be great
very nervous
All looks good. No heartbeat yet but doctor said all looks good. Measuring 6w1d. He said that is normal since u know when you had iui but don't know when implantation occurs. Saw yolk sac sac and fetal pole. Fetal pole is measuring 3.9mm. Back next Friday for another ultrasound

Sac, Yolk Sac and you should definitely have a heartbeat by now.

My first sono was at 7w 3d and we heard the heartbeat loud and clear. I was so nervous before mine as well, but I loved the doctors and the whole place. They did a quick exam, urine sample, blood pressure, pap smear (I was long overdue), then did an ultrasound. We talked about my family's medical history, what to expect, what to avoid, then had blood drawn and I was on my way, a bunch of ultrasounds in hand. Easy peasy and that's coming from someone who HATES doctors of all kinds.
Good luck today, I'm sure it will be fine!

Yes, this. If you can't hear the heartbeat yet you should definitely be able to see it by now. I saw the heartbeat 6w 1d and heard it 7w 1d.
