First Trimester Trip was miserable

I just got back from a trip to Miami and it was awful. I had booked this trip before I knew I was pregnant.

The flight was terrible. I felt dizzy and nauseous the entire time. I threw up all weekend. I had to leave in the middle of dinner because I felt like I was going to faint. I feel constantly tired.

I'm so miserable. I really hope it gets better.

I finally convinced DH to go on a babymoon with me in the second trimester but I don't think I am going to book it. My 2.5 hr flight to Florida was hellish. I can't imagine being on a flight for 5-6 hours.

we just got back from a cruise yesterday...I am almost 20 weeks now. I felt great the whole time!

Sorry your first trip was so bad

I would still go on a babymoon in your 2nd trimester. You don't have to go somewhere that would cause you to be on a plane for 5-6 hours. Why not go somewhere local, or within a 4 hour drive?

I feel your pain!! We just got back from a two week trip to Europe. Which was a 8 hour flight. I wasn't sick for about 3 days into the trip and then morning sickness started. We had a good time, but I was sick for the rest of the trip. It made it hard to fully enjoy myself.
Like you, we had this trip planned for the last year.
I'm skipping a baby moon as well. We are renting a ski house in Vermont with a bunch of friends instead.

I went on a trip to Arizona in the 1st trimester and it sucked. I would try again in the 2nd.
