First visit to the RE - what to expect?
What should I expect to happen at my first visit? Did you and DH go together? I don't think my husband can get out of work that day.. I am a little nervous.

on the first visit the Dr will do a background on both of your histories. he should also do an exam. yes my hubby came with me to meet the dr i guess it really isn't too important to go but you shuouldn't be the only one going he will be going through this just as much as you...my dh doesn't miss any appointment except some of the early am monitoring he does come with me before going to work sometimes but everything else he has been there

I went by myself b/c DH couldn't get out of work in the middle of the day. The doctor took my full history (and DHs) and talked a little bit about options, etc. I got bloodwork done and also had an internal sonogram.

DH and I went together, but it would have been OK if DH couldn't make it.
I had some tests done at my regular gyno so I brought those records with me and went over my history. The dr. gave DH a prescription for a SA. I had an exam and sono. I didn't need bloodwork since I had it done at my regular gyno just a few months earlier. HTH
