fischer price laugh and learn home
I was thinking of getting this for DS for Christmas.
He will be 20 months. Do you think he is too old?

Re: fischer price laugh and learn home
We have it for Sophie and she loves it (she is almost 16 months old) we had a 19 month old and a 4 year old over our place and they both LOVED the laugh and learn home, so I don't think he will be too old!

Re: fischer price laugh and learn home
Andrew loved it when he was little but I have heard that the farm is even better. Some stores are not even carrying the house anymore just the farm.
I think Santa is bringing DD the farm

I saw the farm too. I was also thinking of possibly getting that one instead!

Re: fischer price laugh and learn home
We got this for DD last Christmas (7 months). This Christmas she will be 20 months and we got her the Step2 kitchen.
She still plays with the FP one, but since she started walking, she hasn't used it as much.

Re: fischer price laugh and learn home
the sitter has this and emma's curious but has no clue. for the sitter - her son STILL loves it and he's 4 - she takes it out every once in awhile for him!
we got it from a lovely lady on the buy/sell/swap thread and showed it to my niece on Sunday - she LOVED it!!!!!!!!!! She is 9 1/2 months old. She was ringing the doorbell - playing with the door - she was VERY happy!

Ryan still plays with his at 20 months but only b/c he likes playing with tools so he uses his little tool box and works on his house.
My almost 5 yr old sister plays with it when she comes over - but that might be the novelty of it

Re: fischer price laugh and learn home
I think 20 months is a little to old for it. DS got it at 7 months and really played with it from 7 months until 22 months. He is 27 months now and sometimes goes back to it, but the only reason it is still in our living room is that DD is 6 weeks old and I know soon enough she will play with it.

Re: fischer price laugh and learn home
I am getting Athan the Laugh and Learn Home for Christmas!!! He played with one for the first time on Halloween when we went to our friends' house - they have it for their 20 month old daughter - and Athan LOOOOOVED it!!!! He didn't touch or play with another toy the entire time... and he proceeded to ignore the cute little girl too They had the Laugh and Learn Kitchen too but he loved the Home!
