Does anybody take them? Do you like your brand?

Re: Fish oil caplets

Yes - I take them religiously. I take pharmaceutical grade Fish Oil - either Dr. Sears OmegaRx or Natrol Omega 3.

There is some really interesting research going on about the massive benefits of taking high dose fish oil - if you are interested in it, I'd recommend reading Dr. Sears (the guy who created the zone diet) book - The Omega Zone.

Very interesting studies about fish oil and alzheimers, dementia, diet, heart disease, pregnancy, etc.

. . . and these particular pills dont have a fish taste - burping up salmon would gross me out too.Chat Icon

Re: Fish oil caplets

I use flax seed oil for an omega 3. I know it is not as good as fish oil, but I am a vegetarian.

I was going to try that, but I don't know if I'd be able to use it every day. What do you put it on? Does it taste ok?

I take flax seed pills instead of the oil so that I can take it with all my other vitamins.

But the ground up flax seed you can put in your yogurt, on top of salad or your grilled chicken.

It's not bad. I add it to yogurt, cereal, nut mixes. Couldn't be any worse then burping up fish taste!!!Chat Icon
