Fishay Fishay!! - and a question about generic OTC prenatals
Just picked up my prenatals yesterday. I opened the in the car and realized they were all covered in a brownish film...yuck. not to mention they are supposed to be "Mini" but they aren't so mini at all. Well anyway, I put one in my hand to show DH how big they were for "mini's" and then later on that night I smelled fish. Couldn't for the life of me figure out where the heck is was coming from. kept thinking "what the heck did i touch?" then it dawned on me...the prenatals and that brownish film...FISH OIL!!! UGHHHHHHH. I had to wash my hands twice to get rid of that smell.
So disappointed bc i have great insurance and usually meds cost me $2 but these prenatals cost me $25 and I'm not even thriled with them in the slightest.
is anyone here just taking over the counter prenatals?

I take New Chapter Perfect Prenatal and I love them. You don't even need to take them with food. They're medium size and you take 3 a day. I also take Nordic Naturals DHA. Also get them from amazon. I did love them but just last week I had fishy burps twice but I guess that comes with the territory.

Try going back and getting a new prescription. I'd explain what happened. Fish oil should actually not smell fishy if its "good" fish oil...only if it is spoiled.

With DD I took One a Day Prenatals, they were over the counter and I could buy them cheap at BJs!
This pregnancy, I am taking Target Brand Chewy Prenatals! I love them!!

I take vitaFusion gummy prenatals. The have no fish odor at all.

I take the Wal-Mart ones and have no complaints and they are cheap.
