Fisher Price Bubble Mower
Does anyone have this? I've been wanting to buy this for my DS forever but when I looked on Amazon/TRU, the reviews were pretty bad. Some people wrote that it worked better if you used a different bubble solution vs the one included.
Experiences?

it's great as long as you don't attempt to use the bubbles. it's just a push toy IMO. the bubbles never work right. kids love pushing it around though.

Re: Fisher Price Bubble Mower
It's cute as long as you don't mind bubbles NEVER coming out. The ONLY time we got it to make bubbles was when my DH ran like 60mph though the yard while pushing it and even then it popped out like 2 bubbles. My DD still likes to play with it as a pretend mower but there are no bubbles in sight.

Re: Fisher Price Bubble Mower
When we used different bubble solution it worked, IF the grass was just cut & not too tall.

Re: Fisher Price Bubble Mower
I have it and the bubble part is a complete WASTE....looks so much better than it really is....DS loves it to follow DH around with as he's mowing the lawn....I don't think there's been a day where those stupid bubbles ever came out!

Re: Fisher Price Bubble Mower
I bought it for DS a couple weeks ago when BRU had it for $9.99. Totally worth the $10. I was excited for the bubbles bc DS loves them but like others have said, they don't really work. DS could care less about the bubble part though! He uses it everyday when we are outside

Re: Fisher Price Bubble Mower
the instructions say that you have to dump out the bubble solution and rinse out the mower EVERY time you use it. It may work better if you do this, but for me, it's more time and aggravation than it's worth. Oh well, no bubbles

EXACTLY. we got it to blow bubbles for like 2 seconds. it leaked all over the place. I didnt bother after that. DS likes pushing it around though for the noise it makes.
if you want bubbles, walgreens sells a 10 bubble machine that works pretty well. (although it uses 6AA batteries, so im not sure how good of a price $10 is when it sucks down batteries pretty fast.)

Re: Fisher Price Bubble Mower
I had originally wanted the bubble mower but I go this little tikes one instead. DS loves it, it has a removable gas can and you pull the cord to wind up the "motor".
