Fitness Instructor?
Does anyone know what it takes to qualify as a fitness instructor? The courses? The time line to qualify? The cost?
Or anything else I need to know? I have been thinking about doing this lately and just wondering what it involves.

You should find all the information you need on these website. Just make sure if you choose to get certified you do so by a nationally recognized organization.
Hofstra also has a certification, but I think it's for Personal Training
