Fitting 3 carseats, not a mini-van??

We are in the market for a new car. I have a trailblazer now, which I love but it doesn't have a 3rd row.

Anyone have suggestions for a truck or crossover that can comfortably and easily fit 2 car seats other than a mini-van?

My neighbors have twins and have a Tahoe. But won't Dominic still need a car seat? I dont know that you could fit 3 across and the 3rd row wouldnt work b/c you have to fold down part of the 2nd row to get to the 3rd row and you cant do that with car seats on both sides.

I think you may have to become a mini-van momma Chat Icon Chat Icon

Have you checked out the Honda Pilot, Mitsubishi Outlander, or Toyota Highlander.
They're all SUV's with the third row.
Oh yeah and the Jeep Commander. Its like th grand Cherokee just longer. Wasn't my fav when we were out looking.

my MIL has a Tahoe and it would fit 3 carseats in the middle row and there is even another row behind that.

Here is my girls in their Marathons in a Tahoe:

I have a Buick Enclave with a 3 row (crosover). It has Captain's chairs in the second row, so it makes it really easy for a person to get to the 3rd row when we need it. I actually rode in the third row last week and it was so roomy. I have my two in car seats in the captains chairs in the second row and can easy walk into the 3rd row to sit without having to move anything.

Other cars/crossovers I know are very similar are the GMC Acadia and the Mazda CX-9.

You could do three car seats - you just have to put two of them in the third row and one in the second Chat Icon

My friend has twins and this is what she does with the Tahoe.

I have an enclave and this is what I do, however if my 2 year old falls asleep in the back seat, it is a PITA to get her out of the car. I"m also having an issue finding strollers that fit in the rear behind the 3rd row. Chat Icon

See that is my probelm ..... i need something with the 2 captains chairs in the middle row and then the 3rd row. I can't get something that I will have to climb over to buckly my DS in the 3rd row.

Is the 3rd row in all of the crossovers really close to the back? We saw the acura with 3 rows the other day and the 3rd row was so close to the back I couldn't even fit a stroller back there!

Thanks for the advice - I am going to look into some of these!
