Flatbush Station LIRR

Anyone familiar with it?

I am taking the LIRR tomorrow to flatbush and have to jump on the 2 or 3 subway.

Is the subway right by the train station? Does the subway go two ways? east/west? north/south? how do I know which one to get on?

It's been a long time but yes, I remember the subway being at the same station. I would jump on the A train so I don't know about the 2 or 3 but they do run opposite ways...uptown and downtown, I think.

Re: Flatbush Station LIRR

I live 2 blocks away.

when you get out of the LIRR, the 2 train platform will be right in front of you, going MANHATTAN bound, which is where you want to go.

it's 3 stops to borough hall (nevins, hoyt, borough hall)

have fun!

The subway is right there downstairs.

I used the 5 train to go Uptown.

yes, please trust me. any other train requires going up and down stairs and meandering all over Pacific/Atlantic station. you'd be at Borough Hall already if you listen to me.

I want to stress though, that you don't go outside...

when you exist the LIRR train itself, you will be on the same level as the 2 train, to your left.
