Re: Flea Medicine
definitely apply in sept - it will be starting to get cooler and those fleas will be looking for a nice warm home! Last year i got lax in Sept and we ended up with a HUGE flea problem - it cost us about $1000 to get rid of them in my house

I was told when the first frost fell to stop flea meds. and start up in March again. Well in February i found a tick on my dog. IT wasn't warm out or anything. This was about 4 or 5 years ago. A year later, she came up with Lymes disease. I had stopped using it in the beginning of December and started again in march that year.
Our trainer told us to stop using the 2 coldest months of the year. December and January, but it is good to start back up again in february
