Flight prices jumping overnight
2 days ago I checked Jetblue for flights from NY to San Fran and they were $149 each way. Today I went back online and they're now $239 each way. How is that possible???? Has anyone ever seen this before? Will the prices ever come back down?

Re: Flight prices jumping overnight
Tuesdays at 3 pm is the best time to book a flight. The rates are the cheapest.
Flights always go up the next day, and booking a flight on a Friday is the most expensive.
Wait until next Tuesday, I bet they go down again.

Re: Flight prices jumping overnight
i've had this happen before with jetblue. they offer a limited number at the very cheap price ($149 for a flight cross country) and once those are gone the price goes up.
another trick - go into your computer history & clear your cookies & try again. someone told me that trick once and it worked on other airline sites.

the prices will change in a matter of minutes or hours ! its crazy. when you see a good deal book it because you never know what will happen.
