Flip flops to a wedding???
Wrong?
We have a wedding to go to tomorrow night, and I have NO shoes that fit me comfortably except for my flip flops. I am 34 weeks, everything hurts, and my feet are SO swollen its disgusting.
I will be wearing a dress, but do you think its wrong for me to wear flip flops? They are black and have a slight "heal". Its flips or I squeeze my Fred Flintstone feet into shoes.
Think anyone will care???

I'm wearing flip flops to mine on Saturday. It's either that or barefoot. And mine aren't even that pretty.

I figured no one would care... at this point, my belly enters the room a full 2 minutes before the rest of me. I doubt anyone will give me grief about it considering. Besides, they are not ugly, they are black and come up slightly in the back to give the illusion of a heal, and I am wearing a nice dress

Sounds fine to me. Hey, I had a black tie wedding and I wore flip flops under my dress. I wasn't even pregnant.

I have my cousin's wedding on Saturday and he TOLD me to wear flip flops. I am 29 weeks and I told him no way. But my mom agreed. So I am going to wear shoes but bring my flip flops. I totally think you should go for it!

I'm a bridesmaid in my friend's wedding in a few weeks and I'm wearing flip flops under my dress! My feet are still swollen 2 months after giving birth thanks to the continued heat...so I told her it was that or I go barefoot....and she bought me the flip flops!
People will understand! You deserve to be as comfortable as possible! Well, as comfortable as a pregnant woman can be in August.

i say go for it..you have to be comfortable!
I have a wedding to go to when i'll be 38 weeks..My plan is to wear shoes, but i'll definitely be bringing flip flops to change into..unless i just wear the flip flops alltogether..

I went to a wedding a few weeks ago and I absolutely wore flip flops. They were leather ones, very flat with a little flower thingy on them made out of shells or something. I wore them with a black dress and nobody said a word. It was obvious my feet were HUGE. Be comfy!

You are pregnant so you have the right to wear whatever you are more comfortable in-I can't imagine trying to put my feet in anything else but flip flops!

There is nothing wrong with flip flops!
I actually have a sweet 16 tomorrow night and i'm wearing flip flops.
I'm actually wearing a pair that have a little beadwork on them so there is a little shine & sparkle to dress them up....there is no way i was going to wear dress shoes or anything with a heal...lol
