Florida beach question
Can anyone suggest a nice beach near Orlando that we could take the kids to? Caiden has never been to a beach before so I thought it would be nice to go for half a day. Are there any beaches by there that have nice "blue" water? I doubt it, but I thought I'd ask. The only beach I've been to is Ormond beach when I was young. Thanks!

Ormond Beach is right by Daytona and the water is not "nice" blue.... You could go to St. Pete or Clearwater, but it willl probably take about 2 and 1/2 hours to get there

Cocoa Beach is about an hour away.
This would be my suggestion too. This north, you are not going to get blue water. You can head over to the gilf side (tampa/st pete) that's over a two hour drive or you can head to the ocean side. If you head East, I prefer Cocoa over the rest but if you want really touristy than head to Daytona.
