Florida Keys - Key West
Anyone have any suggestions on where to go, what to do and where to stay? I'd like to plan a trip there.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Wyndham Casa Marina - it was several years ago and it has since been renovated so I imagine it's nicer.

Re: Florida Keys - Key West
we just went in may and rented a condo in the truman annex (shipyard condos in particular). it was great. walking distance to the beach at ft zachary taylor state park, duval street, mallory square etc.
things we did- the lighthouse, the hemingway house, the truman house, beach (obviously!). we went to the sunset celebration at mallory square a few times b/c it was actually quite entertaining! we also took a day trip to bahia honda state park and the national key deer refuge.
let me know if you need more info!

Southern Most on the beach. We stayed there for our wedding. Also, the Best Western just as you come into Key West--Ambassador--great hotel for the money, cool tiki bar/pool area. Have to drive/taxi into town though. If you like to drive, I highly suggest flying into Ft Lauderdale or Miami and then driving down Highway 1. It's just stunning!! Even at night in a convertible it'll blow your mind. As for things to do: Sunset cruises, kayaking in the mangroves, snorkeling/scuba, shopping, drinking, lots of drinking (LOL), Catamaran trips, there's a dolphin research place on Marathon, about an hour north and a cool place called "Theatre of the Sea" about 90 mins north in Islamorada. Lots to do, or you can lay around all day in the sun doing nothing! Enjoy!

We also stayed at the Wyndham Casa Marina, it was really nice and not a far walk at all to Duval street. We spent a lot of time by their pool and rented waverunners.
We also went to the bars on Duval street, went to see Hemingway's house, rented bikes and went to the sunset celebration one night in Mallory Square.
