Florida Keys....Where to stay?
In my last post I said that DH and I were thinking of booking a trip in Feb and we are torn between a few place. One of our other choices is the Florida Keys. Does anyone know what are some good hotels to stay at. We want something nice, clean, 4-5 star, luxury type. Any help is great appreciated.

Re: Florida Keys....Where to stay?
When we went to the Keys we stayed in Key West at the Wyndhm Casa Marina - it was very nice and pretty upscale. The rooms were nice and they had ice pop service at the pool everyday - I was impressed!

Re: Florida Keys....Where to stay?
Dh and i are planning on going to southern florida in february as well. My parents stay at a campground at the top of the keys during the winter. We are planning on driving to Siesta Key. It has one of the nicest whiter power sand beaches. I've never been there but i saw it on the travel channel! I'm not sure if we're going to stay the night or just go for the day.

Re: Florida Keys....Where to stay?
In Key West I suggest:
Casa Marina Pier House
Cypress House B&B..my favorite with a free 2hr wine and app every evening from 5p-7p at the pool. TONS of wines, premium liquor, soft drinks, tea, water, and many finger foods...Best deal in town and homemade breakfasts...Walking distance to Duval Sreet adn worth every penny

Re: Florida Keys....Where to stay?
check out tripadvisor and put in the area you want to stay in and then check out 'best rated or most popular places to stay' -- you can look through all the options with pics and descriptions! we have found some great places this way.

Re: Florida Keys....Where to stay?
I have stayed at the Southernmost Hotel in Key West and would reccomend it. It is on Duvall Street and the rates are pretty reasonable. If you are looking to splurge, the Ocean Key Resort is absolutely amazing!
