flu shot...should I continue at this point?
to make a long story short my ped's office did not have them until November
I did not get him in for his first dose till end of November
he was scheduled for his second one end of December but he was sick and on antibiotics
I was planning on going tom but was wondering if it would even be beneficial at this point.
When is flu season over?

You know what, I had almost the same problem...Dr.'s office didn't have them, Katherine had a cold for several weeks, etc. etc. Anyway...
Katherine didn't get her first dose until 12/22!!
I still didn't make her appt for the 2nd dose, but I'm going to try for next week regardless of whether she *needs* it or not.
I know the first time they get the flu shot, they need 2 doses, then it's 1 every year after that. You might as well just get it over with otherwise, you might find yourself in the same situation next year with the 2 separate shots.

I wouldn't bother going for the other one, Julia only got one in October and the doctor said it was fine cause she got 2 in 05.

thanks...this was his first year getting the shot
thanks your guys are right I'll go so I won't have to deal with this next year....I hate when he gets shots

Flu season goes until the end of March.
