Re: Folli growing really slowly.....what does that mean?
what size are your follies? How long is your cycle normally? And is it unmedicated?
My first IUI cycle was unmedicated and I had 10mm follies from day 8 till day 16! They finally grew and to about 19-20mm by O day which was around day 22.
Dont worry, they WILL grow...just maturing enough

Just means you're going to O a little later this month, that's all.
Some months I would O on cd14 or 15 but others I wouldn't O until cd20 or so.

Still no O this morning....I usually O around CD 14-15. I guess I am in hibernation this month!
This is a 100 mg clomid cycle.

do you have only one follie? If your on 100mg of Clomid its very weird for you NOT to O on time...because O usually always shows up a set period of time after starting the Clomid? I think its 9-11 days later.
Eta- do you know what size your follie is??

Re: Folli growing really slowly.....what does that mean?
I started the clomid late because of a pharmacy screw up...So I started on CD4. On CD 13, the 1 folli was only 17mm. I took 100 mg of clomid for 5 days.
So, maybe I will just O a little later? I am going back to the DR. on Monday for blood and sono...We are Bding just in case!
negative read on the O sticks as well.....

Re: Folli growing really slowly.....what does that mean?
There are two main protocols used for clomid, one is days 3-7 and the other is days 5-9...however, taking it day 4-8 is done as well.
When you take clomid on the later days it usually and sometimes hopefully pushes up your O date. Many doctors prescribe clomid to patients who already O for this matter. If a woman is Oing too early in her cycle a doctor may prescribe clomid cd 5-9. Therefore, I think your body is basically on track.
A follie of 17mm is maturing,...it's probably growing now at a rate of 2mm a day, if the follie is over 18mm they usually give you a hcg trigger to induce O. A 17mm follie at cd 13, is not considered a slow growing follie.
Maybe, because of the snow...your body was making sure you made your IUI. Good luck and baby dust !!!
