follie check tomorrow a.m. **UPDATE #2**

praying for some action!!

tomorrow is cd12.
this is my first cycle on femara and follistim. my ovaries have been aching like crazy for the past 4 or 5 days. i havent actually O'ed since august so i would love to be able to trigger an xmas egg or two..
even if im not ready to trigger any action would be better than nothing. ive been so crampy that i cant help but be hopeful (just hope theres not too many that i get cancelled).

for eggies!!!

**UPDATE**
Overstimmed - cycle cancelled

I know I shouldn’t be upset – Dr. B said i responded extremely well (too well) to very little meds (2.5mg femara/150ius follistim 4x). I had like 10 follies of good size…He said if I was doing IVF it would be an ideal situation…unfortunately we aren’t. I do believe (as does Dr. B) that I can get preg on my own as long as we can get me to ovulate…

I just feel soo weird that now I finally have some eggies and now I can’t do anything with them and have to let them just die away…
It kills me that I have to wait now to get AF (which hasn’t happened on its own since August – so who knows how long that will be) .. then possibly even go on BCP which at this point seems against my religion..

I am just so sick of waiting!!! Plus to make matters worse DH and I can’t BD at all for awhile!!


**UPDATE #2**
well... although Dr. B canceled my cycle - it doesn't seem like mother nature did...
for the past three days ive had high "post-O" bbt's so FF did give me my crosshairs, and i am cautiously optimistic that i O'ed on my own on tuesday...

last time DH and I BD'd was on saturday and i think i O'ed on tuesday... so i suppose there is a .000001% shot that a swimmer or two survived the weekend (i did have some EWCM although i thought it was from BD and not real).

anyway i have no way of knowing how many eggs did release out of 10+ follies. i also obviously have no way of knowing if any of DH's swimmers were able to survive the 36+ hours between BD and possible O. for kicks i did search the FF chart gallery for pregnancy charts for girls that only BD'd 4 days prior to O, and there were more than you would think...

so i suppose its all out of my hands now... here's to finally Oing and being the in 2WW for the first time since august...

Hang in there, it is a good thing that you responded so well to the meds. Once you get just the right amount of meds, you'll be on your way!!!

Ugh I don’t know whats wrong with me im having such issues dealing with this.. my DH keeps telling me how it’s a good thing cause we know the meds will work and all this stuff and I hear him but im just so MAD!!!
My head keeps saying its no big deal, its just more waiting… but all this estrogen in me just make me want to cry about it.. not to mention that my ovaries are twinging like crazy… if I do O on my own Im sure its going to hurt like crazy.. and if I don’t when am I ever going to get AF to start this cycle again….at this rate prob not til like February…

too bad i cant donate these eggs to someone.... seems like such a waste to let them all die...

I'm so sorry. This must be really frustrating.

I don't know much about over-stimulating, but can your Dr. not give you a trigger so that you do ovulate and don't have to play the will I/won't I game?

At least you are one step closer to getting pregnant. Every month that you get information about how you respond to the meds is not lost in my opinion.
