Following up - Update w. Question
When do you typically follow-up after an interview?
I went on a 2nd interview Monday 12/6 and was told I'd hear back soon. But it's 12/15 and I still haven't heard anything. Would you follow-up?
UPDATE w/ Question
So I followed up on 12/16 and they got back to me 12/22.
Their note read as follows:
"Hi Kathy,
I wanted to let you know that we are still in the process of discussing candidates and your name is definitely still part of these discussions. We will be in touch. Happy Holidays."
It's 1/6/11 and I still haven't heard anything...should I follow up again? What do you guys think?

Definitely. It is end of year and there are a lot of things going on so don't be surprised if they don't have an answer yet.

I just sent the follow up letter.
Yes I sent thank you letters to everyone I met. This was my 2nd round.
Keeping my fingers crossed.

Kathy, congrats! I wouldn't call again...With so many people out for the holidays and then catching up on work, it may just be on the back burner. I'd give them til mid/late Jan. Is this on LI?

No I wish it were on LI but it's in Queens and would take away the subway part of my commute, plus they're more open to flexible work arrangments when needed.
ETA...very true...I figure everyone is catching up right now.
