Fondant users...help
I have to make a cake for a friends bridal shower. I've never used fondant before. Is it very difficult to use? I just want to use it to cover the cake.
TIA!!!

I hated fondant but I am also a giant spaz. I couldn't get it to lay smooth and it ****** me off. Can you use butter cream and just get it really flat?

I've never used it....
I think they make thin/flat sheets using a pasta maker? I know there's a special tool for smoothing fondant... sort of like a float they use to smooth out concrete heheheheh.... you can get it at surlatable.com
