Food Help

I am trying to get Carlie to other things besides baby food. At her last doctor appointment the doctor said she can start most finger foods. We tried yogurt, cherrios and puffs. I am at a lost as to what to give her next.

Any suggestions?

TIA.

Re: Food Help

Alyson eats pieces of pancake, waffles w/ Polaner all fruit spread, cut up fruit, cut up steamed veggies (string beans, zucchini, sweet potatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, peas & Carrots)

bananas are a good start since they are mushy.

pieces of Tyson chicken tenders, I microwave a potato and cut it up (inside only)

try plain pasta noodles first....DD is almost 9 months old and LOVES pasta and meatballs in sauce (all homemade), mac n cheese

Try the Gerber pasta pick ups....30 seconds in the micro and I cut them in half. They have chicken/carrot, spinach/cheese, or beef/tomato

Re: Food Help

Parenting magazine has a list of like 80 different finger foods for babies....
it's this month's (October) issue.

It had a LOT of ideas in it.... tons of cooked (steamed) veggies, different fruits, etc.
