Food ideas for toddlers
I know this has been done before, but I always find it helpful. I feel like I'm feeding Alex the same thing over and over and over again, so please list some of the things you feed your Toddler!
Here are the ones we visit all the time: Avocado on bread Hummus/Tahini on bread Veggie burger Veggie hotdog Veggie chicken Pasta with marinara sauce and cheese Rotini tomato soup Cheese slices Peanut butter sandwiches Yogurt and bananas Tilapia with spices Occasionally salmon
We don't feed Alex any meat, so I'm running out of ideas here!

Re: Food ideas for toddlers
Peanut butter sandwiches-- I was told to wait to 2 years old to have peanut butter by my doctor as well as my brother... Lucky you!!!
By the way that is alot more stuff to choose form than what i give JAcob--he is very picky and doesn't eat many things and he won't try anything new

No one warned us otherwise, so we tried it one day and she was fine. She loves it, but we can't give it to her for school because there's a baby in her class with a nut allergy

Re: Food ideas for toddlers
Do you feed her eggs?
What about french toast and pancakes?
My family makes this yummy chick pea stew dish. It has chick peas, tomatoes, carrots, celery, potatoes, onions and sometimes spinach. you throw it in the pressure cooker and it is so delicious. I mash it up for him (like hummus ) and put it on bread. We make a lot of vegeterian stews that I grind up for him.
He usually eats
pancakes french toast grilled cheese eggs yogurt sanwiches with our meat or legumes ground up grilled in the panini maker mac and cheese baked pasta with bechamel sauce with ground meat
he has once or twice eaten pizza feta bagel

Alas, I've tried to give her eggs in any kind of variety of forms and she flat out refuses. We haven't tried pancakes or french toast, but that's mostly because DH is a health freak and "disapproves" of them ... pffffffffffft.
