Food Network & America's Test Kitchen fans...need help
We wanted to thank my mom for watching the kids while we went to New Orleans. We'd like to get her a gift certificate to a restaurant.
She's a huge fan of the Food Network & America's Test Kitchen.
Any ideas where we should look? (in NY)

Re: Food Network & America's Test Kitchen fans...need help
Here is some info from the FoodTv website
1. How do I get tickets to a show? Important Note: Important Note: Only tickets obtained officially from Food Network in the manner described below will be honored.
Emeril Live is no longer in production.
Iron Chef America does not have a general public audience; therefore, tickets are not available. The audience members seen on the show currently are personal guests of the Iron Chefs and Challengers.
If you would like to be a part of the audience as Food Network shoots a new season of Paula's Party in beautiful Savannah, please check Paula's website. There you will find a list of topics that will be worked on this season along with available taping dates, and the information you'll need to include when you RSVP for a chance to party with Paula.
Additionally, Food Network is located at Chelsea Market in New York City. Although we don't offer studio tours, you might find this one-stop, NYC culinary food shop, gourmet lover's wholesale-retail wonder world of interest. For additional information on scheduled events, food, groceries and gifts, check the market's web site at www.chelseamarket.com

for Americas Test kitchen, if she is also PC literate (my mom isn't), there are a few things you could do - magazine subscription to Cooks Illustrated, or - online subscription to Cooks Illustrated
I have both
For Food Network, what about a Bobby Flay restaurant...mesa grill or bar american

even if she's not a computer person, you could buy her a subscription to cooks illustrated or cooks country... or go on their website and buy a few cookbooks
