Food question

I give DD cereal before her 2nd bottle for the day. I am ready to introduce veggies - when do I do that? Thanks!

Re: Food question

When I started introducing new foods I gave it to her as "lunch". So for me it was wake up, nurse her, cereal, nurse her then veggie/fruit. After the 4-5 day allergy rule bring that food up to dinner then introduce a new food at lunch.

Re: Food question

I would do it in the evening, as her last meal, that is what I did, sometimes DD would want another bottle or some Breastmilk, but that was usually the last meal for the day about 5:00, she goes to sleep at 7:00.

I started with Carrots, then did sweet potato, then squash.

After that then I introduced the greens. I did peas and then green beans.

When trying a new food always do it during the day. Not at night. If you want to see if there is an allergic reaction you wouldn't want that happening at night.

Re: Food question

Just be mindful bc Ava is still a little young. I tried giving it to Gillian and she was screaming for days. Couldnt figure out what was wrong and people suggested Milicon for gas. I gave it to her and it resolved BUT I dont want her living on milicon so I stopped all fruits and veggies and shes fine. Sometimes the digestive systems are just not strong enough yet. See what happens and let us know.
P.S. I sent you an FM yesterday Chat Icon
