Food related question

We are through all stage one fruits and veggies!!! Chat Icon She likes them all and only had a reaction to (bad rash on her face) was squash.

Right now she's eating 2 TBSPS of oatmeal and 1 fruit container for breakfast and 2 TBSPS of cereal and 1 veggie container for dinner. How do I change it up?

and when do I introduce...

stage 2 foods?
yogurt?
cherrios?
teething cookies?

She's 5 months and 2 weeks.

ThanksChat Icon

Re: Food related question

I started Molly on yogurt at six months and have the same schedule as you but I now give her a yogurt for lunch. At six months I alos moved on to the stage 2 foods. She loves Corn Casserole! Chat Icon At six months I also started giving her the Gerber puffs. I still break them into like 4 pieces just to be safe. They are great to start with as finger foods since they dissolve in their mouth and don't present a choking risk like some other first finger foods. Plus it keeps her busy while we eat.

Re: Food related question

yogurt was around 6 mths old and she only ate half a container at a time.

DD would eat 4 TBSP cereal mixed with fruit or veggies and then she got picky and we had to seperate it all.

Then she went off baby cereal when she got onto meats.

Cheerios we did around 7/8 months

You could add 1/2 fruit container after the veggie for dinner.

maybe make some of your own? DD loved mashed up mango that I did myself

Re: Food related question

At the 6 month well visit is when we went to Stage 2 foods, and per my PED.
I would hold off till you go to your 6 month visit and see what your PED recommends

Re: Food related question

Leah is eating like 3 TBSP of oatmeal/barley/rice with a full jar of Stage 1. I give her a fruit at lunch and a veggie at dinner.
We have tried all the foods but I think she just didn't like the carrotts.
