For all my fellow SUV drivers..check your trunks..
Sunday was the 1st time ever that I've been sooo scared! It was around 1p and I was leaving my home alone (no kids thank god!) to go to my mom's house. Kids had slept over grandma's Sat. night. Anyway, my car was parked 2 doors down from mine. I start walking to my car and click the unlock button on my remote. As I'm sitting in my car -- ignition not even on yet -- I look thru my rear mirror and see a person in my trunk!! YES, my TRUNK!!!! I drive a trailblazer so you can actually fit a lot in that back space of a 5 seater no 3rd row. OMG, I jerked my driver door open and started yelling at the top of my lungs "Get the F out my car". So i called 911 immediately. It took me about 3 minutes to report all to operatior. I even forgot my own street name. At this point this person who I thought was a man but turned out to be a woman was still inside. Luckliy, my neighbor was outside and I told him what was going on. She finally came out of my car by climbing into 2nd row than into my driver seat. As she's coming out all I saw were her bare feet and legs..which made me think she was naked. She can was holding yellow flip flops in her hands. She finally gets out goes 2 doors down and sits on a chair. I than asked her what she was doing in my car and she responded "sleeping". The cops took about 10 mins to get there in where he had already walked away. I followed her for about 1 block but than gave up when I realized I had left my car door open. I took a quick pic of her from my phone and showed that to cops also gave them her discription. There was no forced entry to my car and they had me check for my belongings and nothing was missing so they couldn't charge her with robbery so not much they will do to her when they find her. I just felt violated and grossed out. I went home grabbed clorox wipes to clean down all leather seats and a can of lysol to spray the back. I went straight to car wash to super vacuum my trunk but now I'm finding myself scared to enter my car. I know it was my fault for leaving doors open but it' was an accident!
I'm glad I was unharmed and that I was alone if not kids would've been tramatized. My daughter has me checking the car every morning now before we get in. Ladies, please double check all doors when exiting car --even if my remote says it's locked I'll be pulling on handles from this day forward.
I also think what if I was driving when this woman popped her head out my trunk than what...I would've caused major accident.

 I'm glad you are ok. I have a small SUV and I try to always look inside of it when I'm walking up to the drivers door. You just never know. I'm glad you are ok!

I'm surprised at myself for keeping sanity because i was really shaken up from the who encounter. I'm just afraid now that she knows where I live because she did see my standing around and who know if she saw me walking down my steps from when i beeped the doors to unlock.

OMG
I am so freaked out now
I have a rental car- not my SUV- it's a trail blazer- the truck is HUGE
I don't feel comfortable driving it as it is- since it's bigger then mine- and I don't trust that it always locks either
I am never getting in this SUV or mine until I check the truck and under it as well
gross and scary!
I am glad you are ok!

She was in her mid 40's I would say. She didn't look dirty as a homeless person would but I would believe she is since she did tell me she was sleeping in my trunk!

I must admit that's exactly what happened and she was just a wonderer looking for an unlocked car and hit lotto with my spacious trunk!

wow that is so scary. My SUV tells you when someone is in the car but I am always paranoid just in case I dont look at the dashboard before sitting down.
