For all NYC mommies interested, Madison Square Kids begins tomorrow
And of course any of the long island mommies who would like to pay us a visit , I heard it is a great program:

Mad. Sq. Kids is a free summer entertainment series for children on the Oval Lawn in historic Madison Square Park. Child friendly performers engage their audience with live music, storytelling and more.
David Weinstone and the Music for Aardvarks Band June 15
It’s no exaggeration to say that Weinstone has changed the musical geography of New York. As creator of the Music for Aardvarks classes that take place all over the five boroughs and across the country, his music has gotten thousands of tiny toes tapping and launched at least one major singing career. Mr. Ray and songs for seeds August 12
Mr. Ray (Ray Anderson) has been writing and singing songs for kids and families for over a decade and has released 4cd’s and 2 dvd’s to date. From 1998 to 2001, he toured the world as a guitarist and keyboardist with rock legend, Meat Loaf, but decided to return to making music for families full-time. Mr. Ray’s 4th cd, Welcome to the Music Room, features the Sirius/XM Kids Place Live hit, “Born from our Heart,” a song about the joy of adoption. He frequently tours London and is signed to Universal Records UK. For the final Mad. Sq. Kids performance of the summer, Mr. Ray will be joined by appleseeds’ house band, songs for seeds. Playground Activities The playground is open from 7 a.m. to dusk.
The innovative Madison Square Park playground featuring a fifteen-foot-high waterwheel sprinkler (open seasonally) is located near the park entrances along Madison Avenue at 25th Street and 26th Street.
