when you first had the baby and were in clothes for the first few days, what were you in. were you inthe maternity size still r did you buy a slightly smaller size.

inmy prev thread, i said i was making a bag for my sister.. i wanted to buy her underwear and a outfit when she is in the hospital/ one of those velour outfits/comfy.. what size do I get her?

also was there anything you needed inthe hospital that you wish you had.. myabe then i could add that in her bag!@

maternity but the size I wore at the beginning of my pregnancy when I was like 20 or 16 weeks , not what I wore at the end, so I Small or PS, you lose a lot those two days in the hospital

you lose weight but there are some case when you do not untill a couple of days later.. you also want to be very comfy and not want something that is going to pull. I would buy the size she is before the baby this way she will not have it to small or tight Esp is she has a C section.....

The first few week I wore my smaller cut maternity shirts with either sweats or jeans non-maternity but not my regular size either - like a size or two up - what I wore when I was in my early pregnancy months.

If you buy a sweat suit - I would go a size up....you never know what your body will reshape to be - so it is hard to predict. I know shirts one size up took a couple weeks to look kind of normal.

I wore either extra large or double xtra large cotton shorts and tshirts and if I was going out then I wore some of my maternity clothes
