? for BTDT moms.... bathtubs
I am in need of advice from some experienced moms out there. I registered for a basic tub and received a more elaborate one for my shower. Should I return it and get what I had registered for? Is this one a good one? There seem to be so many choices... and they are all so different. Help! Thanks! basic one: eurobath
Gift: Tub/Shower

I have the one below. I like it. I'm still using the sling part though so I can't comment on the actual tub. My sister had it and loved it. It got alot of good reviews on BRU. Image Attachment(s):

I have this tub and I love it. My DS is 3.5 months and now I give him a bath in the regular part. I highly recommend it.

I had one similar to the one you got for a gift. I retired it for a blow up one at this point but in hindsight I didn't care too much for the sling thing in the tub. I used to bathe DD everyday and although mine was a little different....it didn't really come clean after being wet daily. I did like the tub itself but you couldn't just use that with an infant. I think you should go with the one most posters on here recommended.

I have the same one, used it DD#1 and will use it with #2. My SIL just registered for a spa.shower one from BRU and I think it's so cool I love the fact that there is a hose for shower to rinse off the baby.

Re: ? for BTDT moms.... bathtubs
We currently have the eurotub and LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
The tub we registered for and rec'd we ended up not using for long. DS was 9lnb 7lbs at birth and quickly outgrew the tub. It did have the option to use as a tub seat, but he didnt seem to like it. But now, the Euro tub, HE love it!
This is the one we registered for and rec'd, which is in the basement!

We have the eurobath also and love it. It's very simple, but it really does the job. We've used it since he was an infant. He's 8-1/2 months and we still use it (and my DS is a big baby at 23 lbs.)

I had to laugh at this because I still use the Eurobath for my older daughter -- who will be 3 in two months... So 23 pounds means you still have plenty of time to go.
I also use the Eurobath now for my 2 month old -- its all you'll need until you are ready to go with the regular tub.

Re: ? for BTDT moms.... bathtubs
My next question... will BRU take it back even though it is not on my registry and I do not have a receipt? SHould I just add it to my registry and then return it?

I would add it to your registry mark it asa purchased and then try to return it. I posted earlier last week that apparently BRU is going to start changing their return policy and you can only return items with a receipt which s u c k s but Friday I went to the BRU in Union Square and returned something off my registry without the receipt no problem.

I have the eurobath too and I love it. One side is for infants, the other as they get older.
