For FREE on Craig's List
http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/zip/
I always knew of CraigsList but never knew there was a "For Free" section until KellyFG mentioned getting stuff from there.
I'm planning on listing some stuff on there in the future when I can clean it up, photograph it, and post it.
I figured if I didn't know about the "For Free" board, some of you might not also. So enjoy!

Re: For FREE on Craig's List
Sorry to reply to my own thread, but this ad caught my eye: River rocks - free
Those would make a really nice addition to a planting bed or around a fountain.
And I chuckled at the description:
"You haul. They are heavy, they are rocks, rocks are heavy"

Re: For FREE on Craig's List
i didn't know that Craigslist had a for free section.
i've always used freecycle.org... you have to register, but once you do EVERYTHING is free!!!
i've given away quite a few items this way.
i'll be checking out craigslist now.
thanks for sharing
