For mom's that had DC in the winter

Besides for a bundle me for the car seat, what did you dress your DC in to take them home from the hospital?

TIA!

I dressed her in just a shirt, pants and socks.

I didn't use a Bundle Me, just put a heavy blanket over the carseat.

She wore a sweater and pants home

I had DS in a terry-cloth sleep-n-play with an adorable hooded jacket over his newborn-hat.

I did use the bundle-me ---- I loved that thing!

DS was born at the end of January and it was in the 40's with strong winds...I remember it being quite cold when we were wheeled outside!

HTH!

DD wore a snap undershirt(for umbilical cord), a fleece footed PJ, and a snowsuit type thing with a hood. We also had a hat and a sweater for her, but she had a really bad vaccum extraction bruise on her head and we werent able to use the hat, so Im very glad we had a hood to put on her. Plus we had a blanket for her.
