For moms who gained very little weight during their pregnancy....
Especially those that were average weight to begin with - how much weight did you gain, how much did your baby weigh, and did it affect your baby in any way?
I am still worried that I'm not gaining any weight and still having difficulty keeping food down - I need some reassurance from those who have been in the same boat!

For the Maddie, I gained very little weight. She was 7lb, 12oz. When you're pregnant, the body gives to the baby first and then you.

igained 35 whichis not That low bt the baby was 10lbs and by two weeks after delivery i was 4lbsless than iw as when i ot pregnan

I am overweight, but I only gained 2.5 lbs and my little boy was 7 lbs 14 oz. Between my 12 week and 20 week scans, I had lost 7 lbs!
I would agree that your body does give to the baby first! I threw up everyday also, but first thing in the morning!

I gained about 22 lbs - my daughter was 7 lbs 6 oz and Im an average size girl. In about 2 -3 weeks I lost all of my pregnancy weight.

I gained 22 lbs and I was avg to begin with. DD was 7 lbs 10oz and the drs had no worries throughout the PG. There were days I just didn't want to eat much more than a yogurt and granola bar.
A friend of mine gained all of 15 lbs...was VERY sick for most of her PG...couldn't tolerate food and her baby was fine!

Well I'm not average. A little on the heavier side, but with Christopher, I gained 15 lbs. He weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and was perfectly healthy. With Kaylee I gained 5 lbs (actually lost weight the first two trimesters of the pregnancy), and she weighted 6 lbs 7 oz and was perfectly healthy.

Yes. I don't know the actual amount I gained but by 8 or 9 months, I had only gained 8lbs. Don't get me wrong - I still looked pregnant - I just looked thinner & very pregnant.

I only gained 17 pounds and everything turned out just fine I was also very sick and hospitalized in the beg for severe morning sickness.
Everything will be fine
