We just have the plain strap version from BRU, but we've been using the clip-on straps for over 4 years now (not in the crib, though. We take them off when they sleep. Even though it's a short strap, it could still get caught.)
It makes our lives easier, the kids are happier, and I think it helps with their speech. I've seen many kids who don't want to take the paci out of their mouth when they talk. With the strap, DC have/had no problem dropping the paci to talk, since they knew they weren't going to lose it.
ETA: I just re-read the website, and realized that Soothie is a particular brand and style.... we use the Playtex (I think) pacis, and they've had the straps for those for a long time.

oh yeah, that's why i'm so excited. none of the other types of straps fit on the soothie paci because there is no where to clip it to.

They have a girl version and a boy version at Target....too bad for us that I finally noticed these after we switched to another pacifier......DD LOVED her soothie when she was little.
