For the first time..
For the first time since I have gotten married, I went to a wedding tonight and I was actually sad that my wedding was over. I will never be a bride again. Usually when I go to weddings, I am happy that all that planning is over and am satisfied that I will never do it again. Tonight, I am kind of sad.
For the first time also, I feel OLD! This is the first wedding I have been to since having a baby so maybe that has something to do with it? It was one of my friends from childhood, we grew up together, our parents grew up together. I never feel old. I am not one to focus on that. But tonight, being with a few of my friends from "back in the day" made me feel so sad. I couldnt believe that we were all married for years already, have kids and have moved on. Its so surreal.
It was an AMAZING wedding but now I am kind of sad, just had to get it off my chest.

I'm getting married 4 weeks from today and I am already preparing for that feeling. I never thought I'd be *that* into the planning that I'd miss it when it's over... but I'm starting to realize I am. Just think of how many wonderful things you have to look forward to now that you are a wife AND a mom!
