For the first timers...
do you have a plan for #2 (if you plan on having a #2 of course)? All told, we've been TTC for 8 months now (although had a mc, which accounted for three of those) - and I'm not getting any younger! We decided to TTC #1 when we did because that's when we were absolutely ready - we knew it migth take a while, but we were also aware that it might happen really quickly, so we wanted to make sure we were ready. I'm thinking with #2, we should start being careless sooner rather than later.
Anyone else?

i totally agree!!
after #1 comes.. we want to have a second child.. when i get the ok from the doc.. we might just be careless ... we know we want 2 kids and we are not getting any younger.

I totally agree.... I am not going to wait, I am going to be careless.. this TTC thing is not very easy at all.. who knows what I will be saying after I give birth but I guess we will see when the times comes..God willing.... .

I TOTALLY Agree... I'm not getting any younger... after coming off BCP I'm never going back on after what it did... just going to be carefree.

i am so sorry you are having side effects from the BCP too.. i wish we were more educated on them

The weird thing is my mom told me she had problems after she got of BCP. She, of course, was also trying when she was 20 years old b/c my mom was 19 when she got married. They told her she couldn't have kids so my older sis was adopted then she got prego 4 years later with my bro and then 2 after with me. I'm MUCH older that she was trying. Who knows?! The BCP back then might be different

I don't want them really close together, so maybe we will wait 2 years and then be careless. I want the first out of diapers first!
But we've only been trying 3 months, so my tune may change if it winds up being much longer.

yea it seems like the pill can do crazy things to girls.. i love how doctors tell women they cant have kids and in fact they CAN!
i really dont know too much about BC , i was never on it.. i am sure you will be ok though!!

Same here. WE are gonna wait 2 years b4 we start trying again. Not that i use any form of BC. We have been using the pull out method and it has worked for us. But if we can wait 2 years we will.

Honestly, we haven't really talked about it too much...we know we want to have at least two kids if not more, but I guess it depends where we are financially...I'll have to talk to DH about this!

I'll be a couple of months shy of turning 38 when this baby is born. Given my 2 year battle with IF and undergoing IVF, I don't have the luxury of time on my side to start all over again. After my last IVF cycle, I have 6 embryos in storage, and we plan to go back to the RE when this one is 8 months old to do a frozen embryo transfer.

I have no clue- I'd almost want to start sooner rather than later since I am learning that trying does not always equal getting pregnant......
But the idea of two little ones at once is terrifying. How do people afford that? I think I'd have to stop working and that would make me MISERABLE!
