For those in their late 30's
did you try again for a baby after a miscarriage? If so were you nervous?
My 1st miscarriage was last week, I will be 39 on thursday I have 2 children and Im scared as h&ll but want a 3rd so bad. I know it can appear selfish but I still want one more..

I am trying now, I am 38. Ack. I didn't think I would want to try again after mc, I have ds why risk it but here I am- back with a vengeance that's surprising to me- the risks I'm willing to take. Good luck to us!

I'm so sorry for your loss!!
I had a miscarriage in March. I was 36. We tried again and I'm now pregnant and 37. I am terrified and this will be my first child (God willing everything goes well).
My advice to you is give yourself time to heal, physically and emotionally, and then try again. It sounds like you really want another child.

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. Second, you are not selfish for wanting to have another child so please don't even think that.
I know for me (will be 35 in December) the second I got pregnant and pictured my two boys as big brothers there was no way I wasn't going to have a third child. I got a clear picture of my family and that is why I want another one. Had I not gotten pregnant and miscarried I would maybe be happy with the way things are now. Not sure if that makes sense.

I'm 38..will be 39 very soon.
Had miscarriage in april. I only have one DS, and REALLY want to give him a sibling..so my age wasn't going to prevent me from trying again..luckily i just got pregnant again...keeping my fingers crossed that this pregnancy sticks and we have a healthy baby. Just trying to have a little faith..
Two good friends were over forty and pregnant..all turned out well.
