For those interested in natural birth

First: I am not pregnant-I read this book on someones recommendation relating to the sad state of American medicine-but thats another story.

If you are interested in natural birth and REAL stories of birth(pain and all) this book is excellent. This woman is very smart and has a lot of great ideas.

Misconceptions
Naomi Wolf

Enjoy and let me know what you think if you read it!

Re: For those interested in natural birth

I read it but I thought it was more about the overall experience about being a mother than just childbirth.

A Thinking Women's Guide to Birth is a great resource as well.

True and the book kind of rambled a bit but I still thought it was a good book. Thanks for the other reco. When I get PG I will be reading that-this is something I think about as I must be on a blood thinner in pregnancy and if I go into early labor I will not be able to have an epidural because of paralysis risks
