For those making the festive meal tommorrow...

* please don't move, I am not asking for any recipes, just asking a question*

Are you going to serve the pervibal Matzah ball soup or a salad? It is really sticky and gnarly out. I am afraid with the festive brisket that my guests would be sweating with soup....even with the AC on.

I am just not sure, so I am asking for opinions. TIA

I encouraged my Mom to not make soup b/c of the weather. she has a million other things to serve anyway and matzo ball soup is very filling!

Ty, that is what i thought but my mother in law says its not a holiday without soup. Time for a new tradition, "no soup for you" Rosh Hashannah! Chat Icon

I personally LOVE matzo ball soup, but that in itself is a meal!

It's just DH and I for dinner tomorrow, so I'll make a salad instead of the soup. I'm sure we'll be souped out at my dads on Thurs and my IL's on Fri.
