For those of you that worked in bakeries or know anything about creating special occasion cakes....
Have you seen a full sheet of cake made with two different fillings? NOT a 1/2 and 1/2 cake I mean 1 layer of chocolate mousse lets say and 1 layer of canoli?
I can't find a bakery that will do this. One said they would but they had an attitude about it saying that it wouldn't fit in the box and they wouldn't be held responsible if something happened to it.
Has anyone in their life see a 3 layer cake (layer of cake, topping, layer of cake, another topping, layer of cake whip cream and the writing God Bless)???
My mom says back in the day they did this all the time.
Edit: I just don't want to do 1/2 and 1/2 I want both fillings in their evenly.

Um yeah...any Italian bakery will do that...all of them here in Bklyn will do that. I don't think it's a "difficult" request at all.

The only place that I know did this, closed so I am no help. I would think that if a customer was willing to pay for something, they would be able to get anytthing they want!

I worked at a bakery. I definitely did this with different fillings in different layers! It wasn't a problem.

Isn't doing different fillings the norm?
I agree, try an Italian bakery!

Totally normal... try A Taste of Home Bakery in North Bellmore - Monica and Rose did my wedding cake --- it was exactly what you are saying!
