Re: For those of you who have been to the Grand Lux Cafe
We went there last weekend. At 6:00 we only had a 20 minute wait.
I had the salad with Gorgonzola cheese walnuts, chicken and there balsamic vinagrette. It was good but huge!!!
We also had an appetizer with mashed potatoes it. I think it was one of the first ones on the menu.
My husband had a burger.
I think it is basically the same food as Cheesecake but with different sauces..
The dessert was good we got the cookie ice cream sandwhich one ( It is made to order).
All in all I will probbly stick with Cheesecake because I like the Source Mall better than Roosevelt...

DH went there yesterday for lunch and said the Buffalo chicken sandwhich was really good- he also said they had the best Bleu cheese he had ever tasted. so if you like buffalo chicken, he seemed to really like it (and he's a tough critic in that area )

The food is sooooo good, much better than Cheesecake IMO. My favorite dish by far is the Cajun Shrimp & Chicken Jambalaya but I also like the Jamaican Pork Tenderloin and the Braised Yankee Pot Roast .
For dessert there's always cheesecake, but I don't eat it too often. I love the New Orleans Beignets and the Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies (they come fresh out the oven warm to your table). YUMMY!
Enjoy!

we tried to go BUT the parking area was so small! u cant get a spot in roosevelt regardless and this place has no parking lot whatsoever. Is there another way to get into this place? Does it connect with the mall?

Re: For those of you who have been to the Grand Lux Cafe
Honestly, we weren't impressed. We were told the wait would be 45 min-1 hour, and we waited a little over an hour. Our appetizer, lettuce wraps, came quickly, but I found two bones in it! We waited a long time for our main courses, and both dishes were just okay. When I ordered my entree, I also ordered the fresh baked cookies for dessert, and it still took forever for them to come!
Overall, we definitely prefer the cheesecake factory.

Re: For those of you who have been to the Grand Lux Cafe
We went last week and were not overly impressed. Our food was all good....but I think I like the variety at Cheesecake Factory better.
