For Those Of You Who Have/Had Embryos Frozen
What does it cost you to cyropreserve them? I was told it was free for the first 6mos and $100 a month thereafter. Is this $100/month forever? It seems unfair to me. Why don't insurance companies cover this?
Thanks

Ours was $1100 initially, which included the first year of storage. Then it's $600/year after that.

I believe cryo was $1,155 and I'm not sure of the charge to store them. $100 a month seems high to me though--- but I honestly don't remember what ours cost as we pay it annually I think.

It was 1200 and then 649 a year (approximately) and my insurance did cover it.

Mine was $1200 and I'm not sure what the yearly fee is for storage, but it breaks down to $65/month.
Our insurance covered the IVF, but not any part of the cryopreservation.
