For those of you who live on 2nd floors...
Is it super hot right now?
We live in a 2nd floor apartment and I think it's so warm up here.
I have a window fan in but I feel like we are going to need to break out the AC pretty sooN!

Hmm...not so bad yet...i'll have to see when I get home. I live on the 2nd floor apt. in a house.
A/C = higher electric bill.

We have a two story townhouse and I just said the same thing to DH last night - it's getting awfully hot upstairs - which of course is where the bedrooms are

we rent in an apt. so we don't actually have to pay the elec. bill --- just $25/extra per month per unit.....so we will hold out as long as possible though because my landlords always stress with the first AC elec. bill.
also...snce we are renting we can't do ceiling fans...although that would help SOO much!!
right now i just have one window fan going and all the windows wide open to try and get as much cross ventalation as possible going!

OMG yes!!!!!!
Its an ***** sauna in our apartment. All the time. Its always about 10 - 15 degrees warmer in our apartment.
There is no air circulation either.
Fans just blow the hot air around.
We actually put our AC on last night 
We pay the electric bill, and we just couldn't deal last night ... so we turned it on!

I live on the second floor in a 2-family house. We are a corner property so I have windows on all sides. I have them all open and the ceiling fans on low - it's wonderfully cool. The downstairs apt. is always warmer for some reason

I have a Hi-Ranch and we live on the 2nd floor. Everything is on the 2nd floor for us. When we get home it's been 78 degrees every day. We leave the windows open a crack on the 2nd floor and it's not too bad when we come home. I know this means we are in for a really hot summer and high electric bill.

When we lived in our apt, we had the same problem. We left windows open, and tried to create a cross breeze, but we usually had to run a fan many times thru the spring.
