Isn't it obvious?

For those of you who love to take bubble baths...

Can we still take them? How hot can the water temp. be? Are the bubbles safe? If and when you do take a bath, how do you measure the water temperature?

I have been missing my baths so badly, but have been too afraid to take one. With some stress that's been going on at home, the little aches and pains I have, there's nothing more I'd like to do than relax in a warm bath.

Any suggestions?

You can take a bubble bath but the water should be warm and not very hot.

Jacuzzi, whirlpool and steam bath/showers are no-nos.

I take them in my jacuzzi (I don't run the jets) soaking tub but only when DH is home. The bigger I get the more afraid I am to get in and out of the tub as it's on a tiled platform and a bit deep.

But jacuzzi/whirlpool baths are only no-nos if they are run with hot water (which is how they normally are).

If you run them with warm but not hot water, they are fine.

Bubble baths are okay, but make sure it's a mild soap, because some of them can cause irritation and even infections.

But they say warm baths are great for round ligament pain.

I don't run the jets or the heater. I just run warm water as if it was a normal tub.
