For those pregnant with multiples...
Did you "know" it was twins right from the start?
Did you have pregnancy symptoms earlier?
When did you need maternity clothes?

Re: For those pregnant with multiples...
Congratulations!!!
I thought for a second in the beginning maybe twins the way my BETA rose and the fact I got my first BFP at 5dp5dt, but it's only one.

Thanks guys! I really really pray this is it - I'm down to the wire and have been through the ringer. Something feels really right about this time though, have to say. I'll be happy with 1 or 2 or whatever amount of babies I am blessed with.
TyRese - yeah, the HPT was so strong and on day 5 and I transferred more than one embryo so was curious if those with multiple babies had early signs.
Can't stop my head from overthinking!

we transfered 2 embryos so we knew there would be a strong possibility for multiples. I got a BFP very early on (I think 5dp5dt) and the lines were dark. My beta #s were also very high from the beginning too.
Good Luck to you!

Re: For those pregnant with multiples...
I was initially pregnant with twins (now I am 30 weeks pregnant with one).
I didn't feel differently but I spotted for about a week after my BFP....it turns out it's common for a twin pregnancy.
My first beta was not that high (I want to say in the high 50's) but then it started tripling. Progesterone was really high too...like 70's/80's.
Good Luck! We are pulling for you!

For those pregnant with multiples...
With #1, I was convinced i was having multiples but there was only one. I had a very dark BFP and had a beta done which was pretty high.

Re: For those pregnant with multiples...
I'm 35 weeks with identical twins and I never had any indications it was twins before the confirming Sono. My first Sono at 7.5 weeks only showed one though. Two weeks later, there were two! I had to start wearing maternity pants at about 11 weeks. The bloating and gas seemed almost immediate though. And the hunger! Omg! Lol. I got my BFP 9DPO and it was faint. Got darker each day

My SIL was shocked , she didn't even know she was pregnant and found out at her first Sono at the fertility doctor that she wouldn't need them because she was 7 weeks pregnant with twins.

Re: For those pregnant with multiples...
I was originally pregnant with twins but lost one. However I had crazy symptoms the day that I got my bfp I was extremely tired and nauseous! My first beta was something crazy like close to 700 so I had a feeling that I had twins and I was right. Good luck!!

Re: For those pregnant with multiples...
My Beta was super high, so high that when the nurse told my RE, she was like "omg, how many did we transfer in her again"? LOL
But you should never go numbers anyway. Sometimes they can mean something totally different then what you are thinking.

I had high betas and also had initial spotting with my twins. I don't know if it would be different with a singleton though having never been pregnant before. We transferred two embryos so I wasn't surprised at the sono! Good luck!!
