For Those Teachers Who Like to Use Pandora in the Classroom for Music
This is probably the dumbest post ever but did anyone notice today when they went in to set up that the DOE has now blocked Pandora and all music websites? I always use it to play quiet lullabys for my children or holiday music, etc and when I'm alone I'll put it on for myself and it seems over the summer they put a block on it. Any way to bypass this? Ok...vent over!

I heard about it. They starting blocking Netflix too. Sucks but nothing to do I think.

Sometimes if there was a blocked site (like Pinterest) we would Google it first and get in that way. I don't know if it'll work, but it's worth a try!

I know it totally sucks!
I was able to stream music through Amazon Prime Radio when I went in to setup my classroom yesterday.
First we had to get rid of our refrigerators and microwaves, now Pandora and Netflix? WTF.
What's next? Are they gonna remove the chairs from our desks and tell us we're not allowed to sit.

Nyc doe blocked pretty much any music site in june. Its ridiculous!

I complained to the computer help desk people. I used pandora all day as I am a physical education teacher. Maybe if enough people complain they will bring it back?

We were told that it eats up to much bandwidth and that more cuts could come :(
